Canadian Girl Who Rocked the World, Evelyn Hart, featured in Room Magazine
In the current issue of Room Magazine, an interview Evelyn Hart, one of the women featured in the new edition of Canadian Girls Who Rocked the World by Tanya Lloyd Kyi, is featured.
Evelyn Hart, originally rejected from the National Ballet School for not having a "dancer's body," was determined to become a professional ballerina. Persevering through several setbacks, Evelyn became one of Canada's most celebrated ballerinas winning prestigious awards, touring North America, Europe and Asia, and eventually dancing as a Resident Guest Artist at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet.
