Did you know that we publish children's books? Yep. We sure do.

Walrus Books is an imprint of Whitecap Books that specializes in children's titles. It's known for its readable and scientifically accurate non-fiction for young audiences and high-quality fiction series for teens. We'll forgive you if you've maybe overlooked our amazing children's list up to this point, but from this point on you have no excuse. That's because we've created a new blog devoted exclusively to Walrus Books.

Because our children's books are so different from other Whitecap titles, we want to give Walrus Books its own identity and create a place for fans and authors to get to know each other. Many of our children's authors are doing incredible things like giving workshops in schools, rehabilitating injured birds and swimming with manatees. They're also writing some of the most engaging children's books on the market today. I think the combination of these two things will make the Walrus Books Blog a pretty fascinating read.
