The perfect Taste for the 2009 Canadian Culinary Book Awards
Whitecap Books is proud to announce that A Taste of Canada: A Culinary Journey by author Rose Murray, has been selected as a finalist for the 2009 Canadian Culinary Book Awards. These awards are judged by an expert panel for Cuisine Canada and the University of Guelph's Canadian Culinary Book Awards and illustrate the unique expertise of Canada's food writers.
A Taste of Canada is short-listed for the Canadian Food Culture Category, which features books that best illustrate Canada's rich culinary heritage and food culture. The winners of each category will be announced at the Canadian Culinary Book Awards presentation at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto on November 6, 2009.
Rose Murray is an internationally published food writer and author of ten cookbooks, including the award-winning Hungry for Comfort. Her work has appeared across Canada in magazines and newspapers such as Canadian Living and The Globe and Mail, and she is frequently featured on CTV and CBC.
