Rose Murray is golden!
Rose Murray wrote to us the other day with some amazing news. She's been selected as the Ontario Hostelry Institute's gold honoree in the category of Media TV/Publishing for her contributions and critically acclaimed work as a writer with a focus on Canada and its food and culinary heritage. Rose released A Taste of Canada this past fall, which quickly became a favourite for many of us around here. In addition to many lovely recipes, Rose includes informative essays about Canada and its food culture.
The awards, which will be given out at a banquet at the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto in April, recognize leaders in the hospitality and tourism industry, in particular those who serve as role models for young people pursuing post-secondary studies in professional culinary, hospitality and tourism programs. Based on that, we definitely think Rose is an excellent candidate for this award
Congratulations, Rose! - Jan6
