Sarah Clement's Illustration Process

One of the exciting stages in creating a childrens' book is choosing an illustrator. We're immensely proud of Katherine Govier's collection of nursery rhymes, Half for You and Half for Me, and finding an illustrator is half the fun.

"We really loved how Sarah incorporated fun textures and different mediums in her illustrations", says Whitecap Art Director Michelle Furbacher, "It's great in a children's book, since you really want to spend time with the images and discover all the little details."
